Pro Wrestlers: They were in full force that night, apparently ditching a THQ and WWE party that was being thrown that day to attend this event, according to Dave Meltzer. Bill Goldberg, Ernest -The Cat- Miller, Chavo Guerrero, Rey Mysterio, and Dave Batista all took in the event.

Goldberg is standing in the front row, screaming to one of his associates who is located in the adjacent section where I am seated.

Something about a poker match. One of his lackeys hands him a full cup of beer. Not sure if thats a great idea.

Former WCW Champion and co-star of The Wrestler Ernest -The Cat- Miller is sitting on the aisle two seats from Goldberg. He looks lost.

Goldberg gives Glazer and Batista very enthusiastic bear hugs with a big ole smile on his face. The scary thing is hes not even halfway finished with that beer.

What was he trying to say that Goldberg was drunk or what?

HISTORY OF THE LAWMAN
BY: Bill Goldberg

Accomplishment is a goal all men strive for in hopes of finding success and influence. For five decades, racing legend Elton "Al" Eckstrand served as an ambassador in many fields. In the Mustang community, he was best known for his Lawman "Super Boss" 429 and as the director of the Vietnam-era U.S. Performance Team driving program.

In the mid-'60s, Eckstrand, a lawyer by trade, grew concerned about the rising number of highway fatalities, then reaching 50,000 per year, with a shocking percentage of them returning Vietnam veterans. With support from F0rd, Eckstrand set up a traveling clinic called the Lawman U.S. Performance Team, to educate servicemen on road safety. The program toured bases in southeast Asia and Europe using a fleet of two Boss 429 and six Cobra® Jet Mustangs, to administer performance driving lessons and demonstrations.

During transport home, one of the Boss 429 Mustangs was tragically destroyed when an eight-ton shipping container fell on it. This made the remaining Lawman one of the most rare and historic Mustangs in the world. Over the years, ownership of the last existing Lawman changed hands a few times, eventually returning to Eckstrand in 1999.

While wrestling in Japan in 2003, I received a ph0ne call from an old friend saying the Lawman was for sale at an auction in Arizona. Even 3,000 miles away, I wasn't going to let this opportunity pass me by. As an avid muscle car enthusiast and military supporter, I had to have this car.

I am honored to be able to continue Al's vision by making the last remaining Lawman "Super Boss" 429 Mustang available to servicemen once again. I am also pleased that F0rd has decided to come on board as we look to recreate the original Performance Team driving program and more, with Ford: Operation Drive one. This program allows me to show my gratitude and continued support for the service you provide to this country.

Thank you.

Bill Goldberg on the Cover of Gladiator!

Article By Todd Hester

The current issue of Gladiator Magazine features one of the true superstars of sports entertainment, Bill Goldberg, who supported mixed martial arts during his years as a professional NFL football player and then as the most popular and famous professional wrestler of his generation. While people might only associate Goldberg with his in-ring persona, he was in fact one of the first pro athletes to make the jump from playing field to ring, where he then became an ealy supporter of cagefighting by opening one of the first MMA gyms in the U.S. in Atlanta, Georgia. In the late '90s, when the sport had been banned off pay-per-view and was struggling to survive, Goldberg gave the athletes of the day a place to train and gave hope to the entire MMA world that mainstream acceptance was coming. Never one to follow the crowd or be pressured to act against his inner sense of right and wrong, Goldberg continued to support and encourage crossover athletes such as Brock Lesnar, whom Goldberg fought in his final pro-wrestling appearance and then commentated on when Lesnar had his first MMA fight in EliteXC. In every facet of his life, Goldberg has brought the warrior spirit to whatever he does, whether it was growing up as a multi-sport athlete in Oklahoma, playing college and pro football, or appearing on Celebrity Apprentice or hosting such TV shows as Bullrun and Garage Mahal.
